The Screech Owls!

A few years ago, I met a rescued screech owl named Henry at SW. I adore him. They told me that they were all over FL and that I should put a nest box in my yard and one would likely move in. Last year, my son Kyle built one for me for Mother’s Day but it was the end of the nesting season. This year, we had one move in and I spot it every now and then! Today, I was able to get pretty close to get some great photos! What an absolutely beautiful creature!!

The Logo!

In September, we are heading out FT in the RV...and that means bringing our small business along for the ride! We have a screen printing business, and many of you already know Pet Rescue Outfitters . We are launching a new brand of RV inspired tees and we have been working hard to prepare for our launch. Check out our new logo! Buying the RV - The Conclusion!

The remainder of our RV buying experience was, well...painful. I have tons of patience as a customer, as I have been on the other side for many years. I didn’t have BIG problems with the RV, they were small and I’m grateful for that. The issue was really a lack of communication. When you call the dealership, they answer the phone, say nothing, and immediately put you on hold. When you finally speak to someone, they tell you who you need to talk to - transfer you there and it just rings and rings in some black hole that no one answers (only for the system to hang up on you!). This didn’t happen once, it was many different occasions....

Buying the RV Part 2

We scheduled our delivery day/walkthrough on the same day as my MIL. It was important for us to be familiar with her RV as well, so we can assist her when needed. Also, she doesn’t want to drive it (and we don’t want her to either! ). The agreement was that Jason would drive ours and I would drive hers. Perfect...not a big deal that I haven’t ever driven anything larger than a small U-Haul. Delivery day went okay, but we were there ALL day.
